Girl Tattoo Design: What Designs Mean

A girl tattoo design is definitely different from a guy’s. You can’t just pick a tattoo design based solely on your personal preference. The first thing you have to look into is the tattoo meaning. A tattoo may look cool, cute or exquisite but you wouldn’t want to get stuck with a tattoo that isn’t significant to you. In worse cases, some people get stuck with tattoos that have negative meanings. Here are some designs that you might want to consider:

- Floral tattoos represent femininity. You should be careful though because different flowers may have different meanings. Roses for example can have a variety of significances ranging from love to infidelity depending on the flower color.

- Stars are also popular as female tattoo designs. They can however also carry a variety of meanings. Nautical stars typically give off the message of purpose and direction or the love for the sea. Other star designs are simply reflective of childish fantasies or hopes and wishes.

- Female tailbone would look great with some tribal tattoo designs. A horizontal swirl of tribal designs can accentuate the sexy curves of a woman’s back. Be careful though. Some tribal designs are created by artists with no particular meaning. Others however are taken from real tribes like the Maori, Polynesian and Native American tribes. Your girl tattoo design may carry a particular tribal significance that you may not be aware of.

- There are also tattoo designs with more obvious meanings. Angels and crosses for example could communicate religious faith.

- Another favorite tattoo category are foreign alphabets and characters. You can have a Japanese or Chinese character that stands for love, friendship, power and many more. It is very important though that you get artists who can really read these characters. You can also opt for translators who can help you with making the design. It is not uncommon for foreign characters to have a few missing parts here and there and end up meaning something else.

- Animals are another popular design option. Sleek felines like a puma, cheetah or leopard would look great on women who want to exude strength and empowerment. Butterflies however are an absolute favorite due to their delicate features.

- Fantasy designs for women’s tattoo have also been around for ages. They seem to have become even more popular these days because of famous fantasy shows and movies. Typical fantasy designs are fairies and unicorns. Other designs however may carry a more powerful meaning. The phoenix for example almost always means rebirth and rising from the ashes again.

- Of course, you can also make your own design. Some artists would be more than willing to come up with designs that stem from your own personal experience. A personal code between you and a significant other and the face of your baby are some examples. This is the safest tattoo design option because you are sure of what it means. On the other hand, a tattoo artist may charge extra for the design. Making the design may also take some time.

A girl tattoo design would become more meaningful if you choose it yourself. It is important to remember though that you should know exactly why you would want a particular design. The significance of your tattoo matters a lot. It contributes to the impact of your tattoo.

Buying A Suit For A Bargain Price

by Victor Santerino

Buying a suit can be a costly experience for the first time buyer. Spending thousands of dollars on suits, ties, dress shirts, and shoes is just not an option for everyone. Generally speaking the first time a man buys a suit he is either gearing up for his first professional job or worst yet, in college.

Throughout my years I have bought and sold many suits. The knowledge I acquired doing this will help even the most frugal purchasers make a sound purchase.

The first option one might want to consider is buying second hand clothing. Thrift stores, consignment shops, and estate sales were once the only place a person could buy used clothing. However, the creation of ebay has opened up the used buying and selling arena and has made buying high quality used goods extremely easy.

I highly recommend making your first purchase from a used vendor. However, this type of purchase does have some drawbacks. Firstly it is not always possible to find a used garment in your size and in good condition locally. Secondly many people do not like to buy clothing online because they want to try it on first.

Another option is to buy a few high quality under marketed suits and combine them with lesser known accessories. Some suits to consider are Pronto Uomo, Perry Ellis, Sean John, Steve Harvey, and Mantoni. These suits can all be found for less than $500 at many different online retailers.

The major disadvantage to this option is that your budget will not have much room for accessories after your suit purchase. You will not be able to buy as many suits or shirts as you would have if you saved more money on the suit.

An option that allows for a large amount of diversity without buying used clothing is to buy many lesser quality suits. This route requires that you buy more expensive accessories to augment the wardrobe. Buying some Tommy Hilfiger, Haggar, or Stafford suits can provide for a nice look and feel but often lacks the long term durability you may find in a more expensive brand.

The disadvantage to this option is that your suits will not stand the test of time. Lower quality suits will need to be replaced more frequently and will need to be tailored.

These three options give you a wide range of choices to make. Decide which option suits your needs the best before venturing forth. Remember to take into account what you will be wearing your suits for and how much your willing to spend before making your final purchases.

Clothing Tips to Flatter Any Body Shape

Saturday 6 September 2008 @ 7:53 am
by Tessa W. Adachi

No matter what body type you have, it’s likely that you’ve been frustrated at times by clothes shopping. It may seem as though some days, everything on the rack is there for someone who is taller than you, bigger than you, smaller than you, better endowed than you, and so on. Even if you can find something that technically fits, perhaps it just doesn’t feel all that comfortable on you.

Truth be told, many fashion designer simply make clothes that look great on one single size, namely models. Then, they simply take that size and increase it or decrease it, but don’t change proportions. If you never find clothes that fit you just right, keep in mind that you can find a way to dress well, as long as you know a few simple tips.

When you are thinking about getting dressed up, you should think about what your favourite part of your body is. Are you someone who loves to show off well-shaped legs? Or do you have a love of showing off your bust line or a small waist?

If you focus on finding clothes that flatter the part of your body you favor most, you’ll look great and increase your confidence as well.

Don’t be afraid to use colour. Look for colours that go with your skin and that you really like. Don’t shy away from colours that you think might call attention to you. With confidence, you can probably wear just about any colour you might want to.

When you’re dressing to suit your particular body type, think for a moment about where both top and bottom hems are going to fall. Where a hem falls is automatically going to draw focus and attention to that area. If your legs are lovely, think about wearing shorter skirts and shorts.

If your legs are long and thin, use pants that stop at about mid-shin. Take a look at what you’re going to want to emphasise before you go shopping for clothes. If you do this before you go, you’re much more likely to find the perfect style for you that will look great and feel great, too.

When you’re shopping, remember that you’re not focusing on concealing, but on accentuating instead. Don’t focus on hiding parts of your body that you are less than comfortable with, in other words. Instead, find clothes that will accentuate body parts you like. In addition, focus on getting clothes that are neither too baggy nor too tight, but fit you well.

It’s also true that slowly but surely, the fashion industry is learning that not everybody is shaped like a model, but everyone still wants to look good. To this end, slowly but surely, fashions are becoming available for those of us with more substantial physiques as well as those truly built like those in the fashion industry.

Above all, when you go shopping, be patient. Don’t buy clothes that are simply “good enough.” Instead, spend your money on fashions that are truly going to make you look and feel your best.

Girl Foot Tattoo: Finding the Right Design For You

Saturday 6 September 2008 @ 4:31 am
by Reese Lanter

Girl foot tattoo is becoming more and more popular with women these days. The foot is definitely one of the most unique place where you can sport a tattoo. Just like any other tattoo though, getting a foot tattoo is a major decision. Here are some important points that you should know about foot tattoos.

The Benefits of a Foot Tattoo

There may be different reasons why you would want a foot tattoo. You might still be unsure though about the advisability of getting a foot tattoo. Why would the foot be a great place for a tattoo? One major reason for this is that they aren’t as common as lower back and arm tattoos for women. Although foot tattoos are gradually becoming popular, they are still comparatively uncommon. Getting a foot tattoo will make you feel more unique than other tattooed individuals.

Foot tattoos also seem less obvious. This is important for some people who want to keep their tattoos discreet. You may want for example to have a tattoo of something significant but do not want to flash it outright for the whole world to see. A foot tattoo would therefore be perfect. You can have a small design that you can show or hide at your own discretion.

Girl Foot Tattoo Disadvantages

Not all tattoo artists would consider doing foot tattoos. This is because there can be a couple of hitches to foot tattoos. This is also most likely why the foot isn’t as popular as other tattoo sites. One major concern is that the ink on foot tattoos tends to spread, scatter or blur faster than those on other tattoos. You may have to get your tattoo re-inked more often than other tattoos.

Tattoos on the foot are also generally more painful. This is because of the foot’s flesh being close to capillaries and bones. Unless you haven’t noticed yet, most tattoos are located in areas with a lot of flesh. This minimizes the pain during the tattooing process. The pain of a foot tattoo can actually extend beyond the actual process. It shouldn’t be a surprise to you if you feel some discomfort while using your feet.

Aside from pain, you have to think of recovery. It can make more than two weeks for a foot tattoo to heal. In this span of time, the tattoo has to be kept dry and clean. You also have to avoid getting your tattoo rubbed. This is very difficult to do with a foot tattoo. You may have to spend the entire time away from closed shoes.

Precautions

Now you know the unique challenges of getting a foot tattoo. You might still want to get one though. If you are really bent on it then the best thing that you can do is to find an experienced tattoo artist. Remember that not everyone does foot tattoos. You should therefore pick one who knows how to do it properly and with the least pain possible. You could also settle for smaller designs. These would be ideal for feminine feet. You would also have to deal with less pain and blurring.

Getting a girl foot tattoo is truly exciting. You have to be sure though that you are absolutely willing and ready to meet the unique concerns of a foot tattoo.
